The recipients of the JUSFC and National Endowment for the Arts Creative Artists Fellowship grants attended the NEA/JUFC introduction party in Tokyo @ U.S. ambassador’s official residence to celebrate this wonderful partnership between artists from Japan and the U.S. The reception took place in the same room that Emperor Hirohito met with General McArthur after the war. Ben Volta and Chara-Rimpa Project team will carry out a special mural project to be displayed this summer during the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Stay tuned for updates!
